COSMOS Admissions

Admission Notifications were sent on May 1, 2012. Admissions notifications can also be found HERE

UC Davis COSMOS does NOT maintain a waitlist. No appeals will be granted.

Admitted student forms must be postmarked no later than MAY 7, 2012!

All COSMOS faculty use slightly varying criteria to admit students to their clusters. Basic criteria can be found HERE

UC Davis COSMOS Statistics:

ADMITTED STUDENTS

  • 25% have a reported cumulative GPA of 4.25 or above
  • 71% have a reported cumulative GPA of 4.0 or above
  • 98% have a reported cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above
  • 12% 9th graders
  • 38% 10th graders
  • 51% 11th graders

APPLICANTS

  • 899 Applicants
  • 553 have a cumulative GPA of 4.0 or above (69%)
  • 849 have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above (94%)

    Nobel Laureate Dinner

    The annual California Nobel Laureate dinner was held on November was held on November 16, 2012 at the California Academy of Sciences. The event honored all of California's Nobel Laureates and celebrated the 12th year of the COSMOS Program. Three COSMOS alumni from each campus attended the prestigous event. Congratulations to Brandon Callendar, Rachel Choi, and Guillaume Prevot who attended the event.
