Intel Research Award

The Intel Corporation has generously donated funds to inspire COSMOS students to participant in regional, national or international science fairs. Each 2010 COSMOS student was invited to submit a one page proposal for a science fair project to be completed in the 2010-11 academic year.

To be considered for this grant, students submitted the following :

  1. An abstract of the project.
  2. The name, date and location of the science fair you plan to enter and contact information for the fair (Website or physical address and phone number is available).
  3. The name of your mentor if you have one.
  4. Include your name and cluster number.

As well as inspiration, the $500 grants are intended to provide practical support for the projects, including equipment costs, entry fees and travel expenses. A budget for the project is not required. Winners will be asked to submit a more detailed final project description as well as the results of the science fair in which they participated once the fair has concluded.
