Life at COSMOS
COSMOS promotes an academic learning environment while striving to meet the social needs of its students. The residential community is staffed by Resident Advisors (RA) who are undergraduate students at UC Davis. RAs plan social events that allow students to make and nurture long-lasting friendships.
RAs receive extensive training in diversity education, advising, safe driving practices, CPR/First Aid, identifying distressed and distressing students, and more. COSMOS students often engage RAs in conversation about what to expect in college and find inspiration to set their goals high.
All residential staff attends the Saturday off-campus weekend outings. Outings may include Six Flags, Sun Splash and San Francisco. Students will also receive a recreation pass which will give access to the state of the art Activities and Recreation Center, the Recreation Pool, and one free game of bowling per day at the MU Games Area.
